Artist’s Statement

Leaves are drifting through the air as they are dancing. My leaves are red and gold that glitter in the sunlight.

Forest Fire

There were lots of animals in the forest. Then someone threw a cigarette in the tall, long grass. Five minutes later a forest fire started and all the animals died, but three baby birds stayed alive because the mother bird brought the baby birds down and the baby birds went under the mother bird. The mother bird gave her life for her babies.  The next day the forest was pure black. They were talking about the forest fire on the news. Whoever started the fire is going to pay one million dollars and if he does not pay he is going to jail. The police found the man in three months. They asked him if he could pay one million dollars. He could not pay so he has to go to jail.
